What we do with your details

We ask for as little as we can, we use it to quote for your event, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone who does not need it to do that job.

Who we are

InvitesPlus is a Maltese business making handmade souvenirs and hiring display items for weddings and celebrations. VAT registration MT29861227. For anything on this page, write to info@invitesplusmalta.com or call 99238283. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect, and when

Only what you type into an enquiry. Nothing is collected just by reading the site.

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• The occasion, its date, and the venue, if you tell us.
• The items you asked about and the quantities.
• Anything you write in the personalisation notes.
• Whether you asked to hear from us about new products.

There is no account to create, no payment taken on this site, and we never ask for card details.

Why we hold it

To prepare your quote, answer your questions, and — if you go ahead — to make and deliver your order. That is the whole purpose. Handling an enquiry you sent us is a step towards a contract with you, which is what allows us to hold it.

Marketing email is separate and works only on consent. The box is not ticked for you, it makes no difference to your quote, and you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Withdrawing does not affect an enquiry or order already in progress.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is stored in our own business records, kept on an established cloud office platform. The confirmation to you and the notification to us are sent by an email delivery service. If you consent to marketing, your name and email are held by that same service, which is what manages the mailing list and unsubscribes.

Both providers act only on our instructions and do not use your details for their own purposes. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it. If you would like to know exactly which providers we use, ask us and we will tell you.

This site carries no advertising trackers, and it loads nothing from anyone else — no third-party fonts, scripts or embeds.

We do count visits, so we can see which pages are useful. It is a deliberately plain measurement: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and cannot follow you to another website or recognise you when you come back. We see that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, and on what kind of device — never who you are.

How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become an order is kept for two years, because couples often come back to us a season or two later. Records of actual orders are kept for as long as Maltese tax and VAT law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to info@invitesplusmalta.com and we will come back to you within one month. There is no charge, and asking costs you nothing with us.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner at idpc.org.mt.
